Day 28: From New Ulm, MN to Owatonna, MN: 72 miles

                                                                       Odd....

Another light 70 some mile day today with a light breeze, mostly overcast, and just good weather overall. The roads were TERRIBLE, meaning I do not know who decides to lay road in 3 ft segments but I was pretty sick of going "bump di dump di bump" the whole way, and my butt was sick of it too. The traffic is also getting heavier which makes it impossible to hold conversation while biking or turns 1 minute stories into 10 minute endeavors as we pause to let the cars pass until we can hear each other again. After getting rerouted in Mankato, MN due to construction, we were back on track. We stopped in Waseca to go to a flea market and I snagged this guy for 3 bucks.

We would have bought him if he wasn't 50 bucks, but we videoed an attempt at ventriloquism instead

We went a mile off route before getting to camp and stopped at a Reptile and Amphibian house. It was pretty low budget and was probably only worth 5 of the 10 bucks I paid BUT the hilarity of watching the male turtle, Diego, relentless chase/try to mount the female, Dora, the whole time we there made it worth it.

Petting the American Alligator (couldn't help but think of Noah's shoes...shout out Australia)

                                                                    Massive iguana

                                               Chameleons are so cool looking
